Refuelled and ready, the fleet enjoy a rest day in St Peter Port
After refuelling this morning, crews have enjoyed their first rest day in Guernsey. Some have hit the high street coming back laden with shopping bags, while others have stayed onboard basking in the sunshine.
Elsewhere, MBM crewman Richard Poat is currently onboard Black Sapphire investigating a fuel problem. The rest of the team are off to watch the annual Guernsey Hill Climb.
Later on there will be a briefing at 6pm, where Cruising Club leader Neale Byart will inform everyone of the plans for the next couple of days. A cruise BBQ has been organised at the Guernsey Yacht Club for tomorrow night.
After Liberation Day (Wednesday 9 May), weather permitting, the fleet will move south to Jersey and then hopefully Carteret.
