Sunseeker unveils its new 37-metre monster
It’s big, it’s bold and it’s… well, beautifulish. Sunseeker’s new 37-metre Tri Deck Yacht has been wowing crowds on this first day of the London Boat Show. Owned by racing supremo Eddie Jordan, the boat is as palatial as you’d expect on the inside, but it’s the outside that has left some rubbing their chins. Still, it can’t be that bad as Sunseeker have already sold five. “It’s a very proud day for Sunseeker,” the Poole-based company’s MD told MBM. Robert Braithwaite went on to say that his firm was planning to build two a year, with orders coming from as far away as Mexico and the Middle East. The unveiling was as grand as you’d expect from the south coast firm. A marching band trumpeted ‘Rule Brittania’ backed up by a gospel choir spread across the back of the 37-metre beast. MBM hopes to meet up with Eddie Jordan later in the week, and if it comes off, we’ll get the interview posted as soon as it’s done.
