We certainly thought so after a 30-knot test in the Solent. The C-Fury has a triple hull, plus unique underwater hydrofoil that enables it to soak up head seas like a sponge, yet plane at just 12 knots. The performance out at sea was impressive, with a 56mph top speed, but even more remarkable was coming back into the marina and discovering a bow-thruster switch on the console - not actually a bad idea when the front of your boat is 30ft from the back!
