matsukawura soma.jpg Tuesday 24 September A fishing port in Soma, within Fukushima Prefecture, Japan, is set to reopen on a trial basis. Following the Fukushima nuclear power plant disaster contaminated water was found in the area.

Recent tests say that of 100 fish tested, 95 were clear of radioactive substances. The remaining five contained less than one tenth of the governments limit of 100 Becquerel for food products.
