The Swedish boatbuilder has unveiled the Nimbus 305 Coupe at the 2015 Boot Dusseldorf boat show
Nimbus has revealed its latest hardtop model in the form of the Nimbus 305 Coupe, which has made its world debut at the Boot Dusseldorf boat show (17-25 January).
The smallest model in the Coupe range, the 305 promises excellent fuel consumption and top speeds of up to 22 knots.
Fitted with the smaller Volvo Penta D3 engines giving 110hp-220hp, the Nimbus 305 Coupe boasts a 32ft hydrodynamic hull shape that means there is no planing threshold.
Joacim Gustavsson, chief designer at Nimbus, said of the new model: “Our ambition was to build a classic, super-functional coupe boat with obvious Nimbus genes for families and seafarers who prioritise comfort, simplicity and functional design.”
The 305 mirrors the rest of the Coupe range by having an asymmetrical deck layout, including an extra-wide starboard sidewalk to make accessing the bow easier and safer.
What’s more, the large sliding door on the starboard side allows the helmsman to talk to the crew during berthing manoeuvres.
On board the Nimbus 305 Coupe, owners will benefit from LED lighting, Corian worktops, a 65-litre fridge and an optional freezer box underneath the L-shaped sofa.
Below decks there is a traditional two-cabin layout, with a solitary heads compartment and the option of either a Queen size double bed or a V-shaped twin berth in the bow.
British dealer Offshore Powerboats of Lymington will be taking delivery before the end of May, with a couple of South Coast boat show appearances planned for the summer.
Prices start at £179,123 (inc. UK VAT) for the D2 110hp version with the ready-to-cruise package, which includes teak decking, Simrad nav gear, VHF radio, and bow and stern thrusters.
