The all-new Nerea Yacht N24 makes its global debut at the German show at the end of January
The all-new Nerea Yacht N24 will be displayed at the Düsseldorf Boat Show later this month.
Nerea Yacht is a brand new Italian company, headed up by Dario Messina, who has previously worked with Dominator, Caman and the Ferretti group. Based near Fano on the Adriatic Coast, Nerea Yacht describes itself as a ‘boat boutique’, and the N24 is its first creation.
A 7m cuddy cabin sports boat, it’s being hailed as a day cruiser or a large superyacht tender. Design is by Italian designers Alessio Battistini and Davide Bernardini of ideaeITALIA, who have come up with a sleek, elegant low-profile
look.
On board, the cockpit is a conventional layout with twin helm and navigator seats forward and a horseshoe of seating aft around a table. There is a raised sunpad above the engine.
Two cockpit units contain drawer refrigerators, a stove and a sink. Under the foredeck a U-shaped seating area converts to a double berth for occasional overnight stays as well as containing a concealed toilet. Large hull windows should flood this area with light.
Unusually, the N24 is available in three exterior colours: Pearl White, Classic Grey or Dark Shadow, and Nerea Yacht promises an ‘infinite range of colours and materials’. Powered by a single Volvo Penta D4-300 sterndrive engine, top speed is expected to be in the region of 32 knots with a cruising speed of 26 knots.
