An exclusive CGI video of the new Manhattan 66 has been released by Sunseeker International ahead of her world premiere at the 2017 London Boat Show
An exclusive CGI video of the new Manhattan 66 has been released ahead of her world premiere at the 2017 London Boat Show providing a first opportunity to see the new model in action with its deep V hull design and newly configured flybridge.
The new motor yacht underlines Sunseeker’s stated intentions to lead this segment of the 50-155ft market and build on the success of its Manhattan 52.
The Manhattan 66’s panoramic hull and saloon windows provide open, airy living spaces.
There’s a roomy main deck, plenty of bow seating and sunbathing areas with the cockpit next to the aft galley and saloon.
Buyers can request the galley below if they prefer.
The flybridge has lots of seats, large forward sunbathing areas and a wet-bar plus a wide bathing platform capable of launching a Williams 385 Jet RIB and a transom ‘beach club’.
There’s an optional barbecue, foldaway bench seat and overhead ‘rain-shower’ too.
The twin berth crew cabin has private access through the transom and a dedicated en suite. With the galley being on the main deck, there’s room for four cabins below including two large twin cabins, a forward VIP suite and full-beam master cabin with its own private stairway from the saloon, a first for Sunseeker in this size range.
Powered by twin MAN 1000hp/1200hp engines on shaft drive or Volvo Penta IPS1200, the Manhattan 66 claims a cruising speed of 25 knots with 34 knots at full throttle.
Sales director Sean Robertson said: “The new CGI video gives a taster of how truly special the all new Manhattan 66 is and we’re really looking forward to launching it at the London Boat Show.
“The new yacht is already generating substantial interest and sales, even before its official world debut. Following the success of the Manhattan 52 summer launch, which was the first in a series of new Manhattan models, it underlines our ability to keep giving our customers the best in class across every segment we operate in,” he said.
