Rodman Spirit 42 to premier at the Barcelona Boat Show in November
The new Rodman Spirit 42 could be on our shores for the Tullet Prebon London Boat Show after it’s launch at the Barcelona Boat Show in November.
The news comes after the Spirit 31 wowed the crowds at the PSP Southampton Boat Show with its ingenius sliding transom seating.
The new Spirit 42 goes without the furniture trickery but it can be had in either a hard top, flybridge or open style.
Rodman say it is one of the beamiest boats in the market sector and the twin ensuite cabins and saloon should reap the rewards.
The interior décor is very similar to that of the entry-level model with light woods and clean if a little angular furniture.
Unlike it’s smaller shaftdrive sibling the Spirit 42 will be fitted with Volvo Penta IPS400 pod drives with which Rodman predict a top speed of 30 knots and range of 320 miles at 25 knots.
