The 2011 PSP Southampton Boat Show closed on Sunday after attracting 111,017 people through the gates, a 9% decline on 2010’s attendance figure.
Organisers of the ten-day show said they were “delighted with its success”.
National Boat Shows MD Murray Ellis: “The new elements to the show, as well as great show highlights, have left 2011 on a high in a time of continuing and extremely challenging economic conditions.
“The atmosphere and dedication by all those involved is unparalleled and something to certainly be proud of.”
MBY managed to climb on board most of the new launches at the show, including the Sealine SC42, Princess V72, Windy 31 Zonda, and Privateer 60.
All 15 of our ‘Stars of Southampton’ will be featured in our November issue (out October 6), and most of those boats will have accompanying video.
