Gloriana, the gilded row barge that led the Thames Diamond Jubilee Pageant, will be on display at St Katharine Docks in central London until the start of the Olympics in late July.
Anyone can go and view the boat, which was rowed during the 1,000-boat event by Sir Steve Redgrave, Sir Matthew Pinsent and a number of British servicemen who lost had limbs in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Gloriana’s next duty is to head up the Thames to take part in the opening of the 2012 Henley Royal Regatta on July 27.
Ben Walford from St Katharine Docks said: “We are immensely proud to host this beautiful vessel. As a marina steeped in history and offering a beautiful environment, there can be no better place for such an impressive boat to moor between its official engagements.
“The stunning boat can be seen by any visitors to the Docks, offering the public a real opportunity to be close to a piece of Jubilee history.”
