The Turkish yard has announced that its mahogany hulled Vicem 65 Fly is going to be launched at next month’s Palm Beach show
The Vicem 65 Fly will be getting its debut at next month’s Palm Beach International Boat Show (March 17-20). And unlike most of the new models on display, this Turkish newcomer is built almost entirely of mahogany.
With a cold-moulded hull, this 65ft flybridge boasts lower noise levels on board, better insulation and better protection against humidity, Vicem Yachts claims.
Key features include a three-cabin layout with a full-beam amidships master cabin, Cruisair air conditioning, 23kw Onan generator, teak decks and a 35” bathing platform.
Power comes from a pair of 625hp Volvo Penta D11s giving the semi-displacement hull a top speed of 19 knots. Drop that back to 10 knots and you can get a maximum cruising range of 915 miles from the 1,044-gallon fuel tank.
Founded in 1991, Vicem Yachts builds classically styled cruisers ranging in size from 52ft-107ft. To see more pictures of the Vicem 65 Fly ahead of its Palm Beach International Boat Show debut, click on the slideshow below:
