Steeler FF53 to expand Dutch flatfloor motoryacht range

The Dutch manufacturer has revealed designs for the Steeler FF53, which will have two keels and a twin 480hp Yanmar engine set-up

One of the most radical motoryacht designs of 2015 is getting a sequel in 2016, after Dutch yard Steeler revealed that it would be expanding its flatfloor range with the Steeler FF53.

The Steeler FF46 certainly turned heads when it was unveiled at the Dusseldorf show, but the follow-up looks even more spectacular.

The new design features a twin-keeled hull, which will make for a smoother ride, as well as protecting the propellers in shallow waters.

Designed by Vripack’s Pim Dijksman, the Steeler FF53 will also come with a punchy twin 480hp Yanmar shaftdrive engine set-up and a hydraulic bathing platform.

Other key features include a central helm station in the raised pilothouse, three cabins each with their own heads compartment, and acres of glass surrounding the below decks saloon.
