Burton Waters swaps Princess for Fairline in new boats deal

East Coast boat brokerage Burton Waters has announced that it will be ending its new boats agreement with Princess and switching over to Fairline

Burton Waters has been named as the new East Coast dealer for Fairline, following the expiry of the brokerage’s three-year new boats deal with Princess.

The broker has offices in Lincoln and Ipswich – the latter shares a marina with the current Fairline Technical Centre.

Adam Cox, sales director at Burton Waters, said: “We are very proud to have joined a strong UK dealer network representing such a reputable brand and are very much looking forward to the launch of the new 53-foot range of boats.”

Burton Waters will continue to sell used Princess models and provide servicing for Princess owners, Adam added.

Colin Sykes, CEO at Fairline Boats, said: “There is real excitement amongst the dealer network and wider business at this time, with the exciting development of the new 53-foot range of boats.

“We expect the initial launch at the Southampton Boat Show in September this year and look forward to Burton Waters joining us at such an important stage in the Company’s development.”

The switch sees Burton Waters effectively replace Essex-based brokerage Boats.co.uk (formerly Essex Boatyards), which changed its new boats partner from Fairline to Princess last month.
