Ferretti Group has announced that it will be giving a Cannes debut to the Riva 76, which is already in build
This year’s Cannes Yachting Festival will see the public launch of the brand new Riva 76, it has been announced.
Ferretti Group confirmed that construction of the new model is already underway at its La Spezia facility, ahead of a planned September unveiling.
With its Moon Grey hull, the Riva 76 takes its styling cues from some of the largest models to bear the historic name, including the 122ft Riva Mythos.
Alberto Galassi, CEO of Ferretti Group, said of the design: “I always feel a deep feeling pride and sense of responsibility when a new Riva yacht comes to life.
“The Riva 76 collects the inheritance of the past combined with the state-of-art technology.”
At the heart of this technology is a pair of MAN V12 engines that generate 1,550hp each for an estimated top speed of 37 knots.
Other key features include a 10ft tender garage, a full-beam master suite and two further cabins, all of which get their own en-suite.
The interior styling is as rich as opulent as you would expect from Riva, with Armani Casa bedspreads and dark marble work surfaces by Port Saint Laurent.
The Riva 76 will hit the water for press previews in early September before the public get their first chance to view the new arrival at the Cannes show on September 8.
