Versatility is the name of the game for the English Harbour Yachts 27, so in this video Dave Marsh tests this newcomer both inland and at sea
Back in 2013 when the English Harbour Yachts 16 was launched, we were impressed but knew that they could do even more.
After all this company features the skills of former Fairline designer Adam Greenwood, so the chances of us seeing a versatile seafarer from EHY were always high.
This idea was realised last year with the launch of the English Harbour Yachts 27, which won many plaudits at the 2014 Southampton Boat Show.
But to be sure that it could do the job, both on the river and at sea, we sent Dave Marsh down to Lymington for a sea trial in the Solent.
In this video, Dave takes to the helm of the 75hp saildrive unit, which delivers a smooth ride at 9 knots and can turn in its own length.
