The January event at the Excel Centre will officially be known as the CWM FX London Boat Show, organisers have announced
The London Boat Show has secured a new sponsor in the form of foreign-exchange trading firm CWM FX.
The company takes over naming rights from Tullet Prebon who sponsored the London Boat Show from 2009-2014.
This announcement is another boost for the show’s organisers, who are hoping for a resurgence of visitors in 2015 and have already sold 95% of the available exhibitor space at the Excel Centre.
Murray Ellis, managing director of the CWM FX London Boat Show said: “We are delighted to welcome CWM FX as the show’s official title sponsor.
“It is fantastic news for the show and the marine industry as a whole. The sponsorship signifies the importance of our world-class event, recognising the show as one of the most iconic and respected boat shows globally.”
He added that the deal was a vote of confidence for the show’s “new creative direction”, which includes the introduction of an innovation lab, a 4D experience theatre and an interactive wall of rain (pictured).
The 2015 CWM FX London Boat Show will run from 9-18 January at the Excel Centre and feature key product launches from Fairline and Sunseeker. Advance tickets are on sale now, with prices starting at £10 per adult.
