Wales festival widens horizons
The All Wales Boat Show takes place from 30 May to 1 June in Conwy Marina. Formerly known as the North Wales Boat Show, the event ran every August for four years from 2008 in Bangor, but is now under new management, which aims to attract a wider boating and watersports crowd with a broader range of exhibitors.
MBM will have a stand at the show with a special subscription offer for visitors. Among the companies exhibiting will be dealerships for Bayliner, Beneteau, Chaparral, Fairline, Four Winns, Jeanneau, Mastercraft, MGM Boats, Quicksilver, Rodman, Sealine, Sealegs, Cranchi, Goldfish, Robalo, Sunseeker and Yamaha. There will also be seaschools, insurance companies, electronics companies including Raymarine, chandlers, the Cruising Association, RYA and RNLI.

There is also a boat jumble. To take part and sell your boating wares, find the relevant page on the website. The organisers have catered for all ages of visitor with demonstrations in stand-up paddleboarding and wakeboarding, plus there will be free kayaking sessions among the attractions.
A spokesman for the show said: “The All Wales Boat Show is a celebratory festival of all water-based activities and is unique to the region with a catchment area that covers not only all of Wales, but also the North West, Isle of Man, West Midlands and Ireland.”
