The new flybridge motor yacht is not due to be unveiled until autumn, but Azimut has given the clearest indication yet of what it will look like
Azimut Yachts has given us a tantalizing preview of what the new 50-foot flybridge model will look like.
These GCI renderings give a strong indication of the direction the company is heading towards and draw on the larger Azimut 80 for inspiration.
Due to make its boat show debut in September, the 50’s key design features include mirrored glass windows on the deckhouse and a three-cabin layout below the deck, which can sleep up to six.
Twin Volvo Penta D11 engines combine to deliver 1340bhp and a top speed of 30 knots – no mean feat for a 23-tonne flybridge.
The spacious design allows for 17.5 square metres of flybridge space, making it one of the largest in its category.
Azimut will be presenting the new model at autumn boat shows in Europe and the USA, however there is no word as yet on whether they will be at the PSP Southampton Boat Show.
