The new 9-inch and 12-inch Raymarine systems feature multi-touch displays and pinch-to-zoom
Raymarine has expanded its a-series of multifunction boat displays with the launch of the a9 and the a12.
The new models are available to order now and feature a multi-touch display, pinch-to-zoom functionality and both wired and wireless network compatability.
Running on Raymarine’s LightHouse II interface, the new displays promise to be fast and easy to use and customise.
Anglers will be able to create their own custom sonar command centre and view both internal and network sonar modules.
What’s more, the 10Hz GPS promises smooth vessel tracking, even at high speeds.
Optional extras include Raymarine thermal cameras that let you spot obstructions after dark.
The a9 and a12 are Bluetooth and Wi-Fi compatible and you can even use them to control your boat’s stereo system.
Prices start at £1,370.83 (exc VAT) for the nine-inch display a9, while the larger a12 costs £2,037.50 (exc VAT). The first models are expected to reach UK suppliers in July.
