An entry-level river and estuary cruiser perfect for families
Measuring just over 26ft, this entry-level cruiser is designed for river and estuary use, which is reflected in the folding windscreen that delivers an air draught of just 5ft 10in, and some very safe decks to work locks from.
The spacious cockpit, complete with navigator and helm seats, can comfortably take six people.
The U-shaped seating aft converts into a large sunpad, giving this boat an extra two ‘summer berths’ beneath the canopy.
The minimal, unfussy helm harks back to simpler times, consisting simply of a throttle and engine instruments.
For the main accommodation a traditional companionway door takes you down into the airy open-plan main cabin and 6ft headroom throughout.
The galley, opposite the dinette, includes a two-burner gas hob with a glass worktop, a square stainless steel sink with mixer tap and plenty of storage.
The main sleeping area is forward, and features a V-berth that converts into a double.
Underway, the boat, powered by a single Vetus 42hp diesel, felt steady and responsive, creating a minimal 66 decibels.
