Sunny days at the boat show
That’s it! I’m going to ban any more talk about the weather. Having endured a fairly dreary season, the sun has decided to make an appearance and Saturday at the show was a scorcher. It was what we all wanted, the weather to match the show’s dazzling ambitions. And how long did it take people to start moaning? Oh, about an hour. By 12pm I heard that it was too hot, too bright or that it was, and I quote, “impossible to work in these conditions”. Actually that last one might have been me after the press office ran out of organic fair trade de-caff latte but it serves to illustrate a point.
