Several boats were damaged when a severe storm hit the island of Majorca late last week. 70 mph winds tore boats from their moorings in the Bay of Palma, and one person was taken to hospital after being hit by a pontoon that had broken loose.
Reports from the Club Maritimo San Antonio de la Playa said and at least three boats had been washed ashore, while others broke their moorings at Real Club Nautico de Palma.
There were no reported injuries at sea.
