The Trader 64 Sunliner, 575 Signature and 535 Signature are no longer Traders after their builder handed the distribution rights to Monte Fino
New company Trader Motor Yachts has lost the rights to market three boats in the Trader line-up.
The boats – the 64 Sunliner, 575 Sunliner and 535 Signature (left) – are built by Kha Shing Enterprises in Taiwan, which has handed the exclusive European distribution rights to Monte Fino.
The three boats will be rebranded as the Monte Fino T-range, with a 495 expected to be added soon.
“It’s a logical move for us, given our close relationship with Kha Shing,” said Nigel Stevens of Monte Fino Yachts.
“The T‐range also extends our portfolio with a new range of motoryachts that slots in neatly below our current smallest model, the 76, as well as introducing to Monte Fino a completely different style when compared to our larger custom yachts, thereby bringing in a whole new group of customers.”
The loss of the three boats is a blow to Trader Motor Yachts, which purchased the assets of Tarquin Boat Company, the previous Trader agent, after it collapsed into administration in June.
