One man's embarrassing attempt to leave the marina on a falling tide is caught on video
Remember, tides wait for no one, so when in the pub don’t be tempted to have that one last sneaky beer or you may be caught out like this guy as he was leaving Victoria Marina in Guernsey.
A ridge keeps the level in the marina but as the tide drops, it becomes a game of risk.
Sources say that the skipper was quite embarrassed and disappointed in himself after he had to be rescued by the marina’s dory.
