First German-built Sealine to offer "class-leading levels of accommodation"
The first new Sealine model to be built since the company’s collapse into administration and subsequent purchase by a German investment group will be unveiled at January’s Dusseldorf Boat Show.
The Sealine F380 will become the first German-built Sealine to hit the water, and carries many of the styling cues from the existing Sealine range, with wraparound saloon windows and clean, no-fuss lines.
The model is being built at Hanse Group’s yard in Greifswald, northern Germany, following the sale of key Sealine models to investment company Aurelius earlier this year.
Aurelius established a new subsidiary, Sealine GmbH, to hold the rights to the Sealine models it bought, the S380, F380, S450, F450, C490 and F490. Sealine GmbH licenses the rights to build these models to Hanse, which is also owned by Aurelius.
Sealine claims the new model offers class-leading levels of space, a long-time Sealine characteristic, and complete 360° panoramic views from those wraparound saloon windows.
Down below, the ensuite master cabin forward should get plenty of light from an overhead skylight, while the twin mid cabin converts easily into a double to provide maximum flexibility.
This versatility carries over to the flybridge, which features a double helm seat with a movable backrest that flips to provide two more aft-facing seats when dining.
Joystick control is an option with the Volvo Penta engines, and Sealine is saying it expects a top speed of 33 knots from the boat.
Prices, excluding VAT, will run from £230,804 for the smallest Volvo Penta 240hp engines, to £248,348 for the biggest 330hp lumps, all driving sterndrives.
