Kip Marina hosts free show packed with new and used boats, including new Sunseeker Portofino 40
For those of us in the north, for whom the Southampton Boat Show is but a distant blip on our boating radar, it is worth remembering that Scotland has its own show, and unlike many others, it’s free.
Last years show saw a range of craft, from £500 to £1.2m, including a
vast selection of used boats.
Following the success of the 2011 show, Stan Prosser, MD of Prosser Marine, said,
“Scotland’s Boat Show has proved beyond doubt that if you are in the
boating business, you need to be in Scotland every October.”
Among the boats on show will be the new Sunseeker Portofino 40, featured in MBM’s October issue.
The show
is also widening its appeal to include the Top Gear Experience and a Country Lifestyle Exhibition with a cook school.
The show is being held at Kip Marina, Inverclyde, PA16 0AS, during
12-14 October. Admission is free, although a £4 charge is made for the Top Gear Experience.
