The all-new Jeanneau Voyage 42 focuses on the serious side of cruising with this super-safe versatile cruiser. Designed to run anywhere between 6 knots and 26 knots, power comes from a simplified V-drive system allied to standard-fit bow and stern thrusters, with Cummins new QSB 6.7 diesels providing the power. The planing hull design looks interesting with a pronounced forefoot.
The V-drive set-up allows more space forward for the interior but instead of using it for cabins, Jeanneau has opted for storage space, gallons and gallons of walk-in, live-aboard storage space. That means the guest cabin isn’t the biggest, but the forward master is huge, with a smart desk for all that serious chartwork that serious cruising requires.
