The Jubilee Sailing Trust's 30th anniversary dinner

Fancy a night out helping one of the UK’s leading boating charities?

The Jubilee Sailing Trust, which takes able-bodied and disabled people to sea on a specially adapted Tall Ship, is celebrating its 30th anniversary with a black tie ball at the Royal Yacht Squadron in Cowes on Friday 5 October.

Special guest will be JST Vice Patron and television gardener Alan Titchmarsh, and will consist of a four course dinner with an auction, raffle and live music.

The evening is being sponsored by marina operator MDL.
Amanda Butcher, Chief Executive of the Jubilee Sailing Trust, said: “This is going to be an amazing night in a fantastic venue, over looking our tall ship Tenacious.”

The tall ship will be berthed outside the Royal Yacht Squadron on Trinity Pier. The square rigger is the largest wooden tall ship of her kind to be built in the UK in the last 100 years. It cost over £14 million to build – £6.5 million from the UK’s National Lottery and the rest from sponsorship and fundraising.
