Although the 410 was launched in September 1993, it is still an exciting boat because it unusually fuses the aft cockpit and aft cabin.
Although the 410 was launched in September 1993, it is still an exciting boat because it unusually fuses the aft cockpit and aft cabin. Although competitors’ flybridge boats of about 12m (40ft) are also typically twin-cabin boats, few have the tremendous extra privacy of sleeping cabins at opposite ends of the boat.
Over the past few years, we have all benefited from rapidly improving standards in design, construction, detailing and innovation. I had expected to find a boat that needed revamping. However, I had few criticisms of the 410, which shows that while our perception of style may continually shift, the basics of good design defy the passage of time.
