If you want to cruise far and wide in a boat that will keep going no matter what, the Fleming 58 is a great choice
At the recent Southampton Boat Show, Nick took the chance to get on board a three-year-old Fleming 58 – it’s worth pointing out this boat’s age, because you wouldn’t notice it otherwise!
A fine example of the yard’s long-range cruisers, this particular example can cover about 2,500 miles at nine knots without needing to stop for fuel.
The interior is as classical and refined as you’d expect from a Fleming yacht, with acres of warming woodwork.
Nick points out which features are customisable, from storage to seating, before lingering at the helm station, which is a lovely place to sit and enjoy your yacht’s stately progress.
Accommodation below decks is in three cabins, with a pair of heads compartments, while the flybridge has been fitted with a retractable bimini and an upper helm position for enjoying the elements.
