First ever flybridge from Absolute
Absolute can build a quality sportscruiser, that’s a fact, so we can’t wait to see how they tackle a flybridge design when the first Absolute 50 Fly hits the water in September.
Looks wise, the Absolute DNA is plain for all to see, dashing lines combine with the slick hull windows, which look like they’ve been lovingly carved out of the GRP, to create a genuinely eye-catching boat.
We’re not so sure about what appears to be a fixed flybridge ‘roof’ but it will at least provide shelter from the elements.
Interestingly, the band wagon has been left well alone and Absolute have gone for a more traditional layout with the master cabin forward and twin and double master cabins amidships, the latter being ensuite.
It looks from the drawings like the master ensuite, the shower unit especially, infringes on space in the galley but we will have to reserve judgment until we get on board the boat and have a poke around.
With the galley down layout there should be plenty of space left in the saloon for loafing and eating.
Standard engine options are twin IPS600s but a triple installation can be specified if you regularly feel the need for speed.
