Are they visiting a yacht club near you?
The team from Reeds Nautical Online Almanac will be taking to the road over the winter to visit yacht clubs around the country.
They will be talking to members about their new online service www.reedsonline.com
The website incorporates the Reeds Nautical Almanac.
The team say: “The tour aims to inform yacht club members how to use the Almanac, which features the most comprehensive navigation and pilotage information available online.
“Participants can learn how to put together a detailed passage plan and predict weather and tides using the most up-to-the-minute information available.
“The team will also give an informative and interesting presentation on the history of navigation, including how REEDS first started as well as their future plans for the online Almanac.”
So far, six dates have been confirmed:
23 January – Harwich Town Sailing Club, Harwich.
24 January – Royal Harwich Yacht Club, Harwich.
18 February – Royal Motor Yacht Club, Poole.
21 February – Haven Ports Yacht Club, Levington.
25 February – Dover Royal Cirque Port, Dover.
11 March – Mylor Yacht Club, Cornwall.
