Worth seeing because:Southampton marks the launch of the Pursuit range of offshore cruisers and centre-console boats in the UK. Pursuit have a history dating back to the early 1950s and are still a family owned and run business, having carved out a strong reputation in the US.
There are 12 models from under 23ft to the flagship Offshore 375, a 54mph sportscruiser powered by no less than triple 350hp outboards. With a couple of sizeable 250hp Yamaha outboards on the back of this Offshore 315, performance should be equally exciting and the petrol option could be more appealing to buyers in light of the red diesel situation.
Meanwhile, the 315 offers protection from the elements and
overnighting facilities inside.
