Sunseeker London has revealed plans to open a Cyprus office in the new Limassol Marina development
Limassol Marina will be the site of Sunseeker’s latest brokerage office, Sunseeker London has confirmed.
Sunseeker Cyprus is due to open this spring as part of the brand new €350m marina development on the Eastern Mediterranean island.
An official opening date has yet to be confirmed but Richard Tilley of Sunseeker London told MBY: “We’ll be there 100%, and we’ll have a stock boat – it’s just a matter of timing.”
“Cyprus offers our clients a yachting season that can last up to nine months, but most importantly has prioritised the development of marine leisure infrastructure,” he added.
Sunseeker Cyprus will be supported by nearby broker Sunseeker Hellas, which is headed up by Lea Tsikoudaki and Nikolas Makridis.
As we reported last year, Limassol Marina will feature 650 berths measuring up to 115m (377ft). The Cypriot development hopes to attract some of Europe’s largest superyachts.
And although the president of Cyprus, Nicos Anastasiades, cut the ribbon at a glitzy ceremony in July 2014, the marina is not expected to open for business until next month.
