Ancasta to take over Bénéteau Power distribution from Dickies
Ancasta International Boat Sales is to become the exclusive dealer for Bénéteau Power on the UK’s South Coast, taking over from Dickies International.
Dickies will maintain its territory in Wales and the north west of England and will be aiding Ancasta in developing its new dealership. Ancasta has years of experience as agents for Bénéteau Sail.
The boats included in this new venture are the Swift Trawler, Gran Turismo and Antares in-board models.
Bénéteau’s export manager Jean-François Lair commented: “Bénéteau is very fortunate to have two extremely capable organisations in Dickies and Ancasta representing and supporting the Bénéteau power boat ranges. These changes will ensure their combined infrastructure is best utilised for sales and support for Bénéteau Power.”
The deal is good news for Ancasta too, who now represents one of the biggest power boat building forces in the industry.
Managing director Nick Griffith says: “Ancasta gain a fabulous new range of product. Having both Dickies and Ancasta marketing and supporting the range in their specific areas, Bénéteau Power will take its rightful position as a major supplier to the UK power boat market.
“Great product, being sold and supported by two of the UK’s most experienced dealers.”
